Company History

1991 Foundation of MELA Sensortechnik GmbH in Greiz (Thüringen) to develop, produce and sell capacitive humidity sensors.
1999 Galltec Mess-und Regeltechnik GmbH from Bondorf (Baden-Württemberg) becomes the majority shareholder. The two companies complement each other perfectly: From now on, an effective distribution of work and cooperation is developing to the advantage of our customers.
2001 10th anniversary of MELA Sensortechnik GmbH. Expansion of the company with a new headquarter building in Mohlsdorf (near Greiz) allows all processes to be modernised - from development and production to sales - benefitting our ever growing customer base.
2005 Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.
today  Galltec®+Mela® are known world-wide for the quality and reliability of their products which are being sold successfully all around the world.
